How to be the Heroine of Your Own Life

"The purpose of the Hero(ine)'s Journey is a transformation of consciousness. Or as mythologist Joseph Campbell put it, 'You have been thinking one way. Now you have to think a different way.'" -Barbara Stanny

There are three limiting beliefs that typically stand in a woman's way towards contentment, satisfaction and career happiness.

The first is believing that you matter. You matter whether you have a job right now, money in your bank account or a fancy title on your business card.

You matter.

Like, really matter.

The second is believing that you are worthy. You are worthy of your job and dreams. You are worthy of the money you make, a seat at the table and a voice in the room.

You are worthy.

Like, really worthy.

The third is believing that you can advocate for yourself. You have permission to stand up for what you think is right and for what you want in life.

I give you permission.

Give yourself permission.

"I matter. I am worthy. I have permission to advocate for myself."

If you assume those fundamental truths, what would you do different in your life? What would you stop doing? What would you start doing?

How would you show up as the heroine of your own life???
